1. Define the geography before judging a source
Weatherford city and Custer County are not interchangeable audiences. A visitor may be looking for counsel in Weatherford, elsewhere in the county, or outside the area your firm serves. Population describes the municipality; it does not show how many people need legal help or how they found a firm. Attribution is useful here because it can preserve the landing page, referrer, channel and device associated with an inquiry. Those fields let you inspect whether a page or source is attracting people inside your intended service area rather than treating every visit as equally valuable.
Recommended approach
Before a consultation, list the places your firm accepts matters from and the practice areas you want to evaluate. Ask to see how a lead’s source and intake answers would be reviewed together, while keeping Weatherford and Custer County as distinct geographic questions.
