1. Set the geographic boundary before reviewing performance
The Census identifies Tahlequah as a municipality in Cherokee County, Oklahoma. Its 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate is 16,935, with a margin of error of 37. That figure describes the city population; it does not establish legal demand, search volume, competition, calls, cases or revenue. For dashboard purposes, that distinction matters. A Tahlequah target should not automatically be treated as a Cherokee County target, and neither should be silently expanded to all of Oklahoma. Bosseo’s public dashboard description includes rankings, leads and city data, so your review should ask how a location is named, grouped and reported.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how Tahlequah, Cherokee County and any broader Oklahoma targets would appear separately. Decide whether a call, form or matter associated with one geography can be attributed to another. Record the geographic definitions before using location trends to direct budget or practice-area decisions.
