1. Start with Altus coverage, not a population shortcut
Altus city and Jackson County are related but different geographic descriptions. If your firm serves only Altus, the review plan should center on the firm’s actual city profile and client base. If it also serves other parts of Jackson County or Oklahoma, those service areas should be reviewed separately rather than blended into one unsupported local claim. The Census estimate is useful for identifying the municipality and county relationship, but it cannot tell you how many people search for a lawyer, how many firms compete, or how many potential clients will leave reviews.
Recommended approach
Bring your current Google Business Profile, service-area policy, practice-area list, and recent client-contact process to the consultation. Ask Bosseo to distinguish profile activity from qualified inquiries and to explain how geographic coverage will be represented without implying that every Jackson County resident is an Altus client.
