1. Start with the service area, not the population number
Your firm may serve Waterville, other parts of Lucas County, or a broader Ohio market. Those are different geographic decisions. The Census records Waterville city as a municipality in Lucas County, with a 2020–2024 ACS 5-year population estimate of 6,017. That is useful for describing the place, but it cannot tell you how many people seek legal help, how many firms compete for attention, or how many clients would respond to a review request. A reputation program should therefore map the locations and practice areas you actually serve before interpreting profile activity. A firm focused on Waterville alone may need a different review and profile plan from a firm serving clients throughout Lucas County or Ohio.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to review geographic coverage separately from audience assumptions. Confirm which Google Business Profile represents the firm, which locations are legitimate to describe, and whether review activity should support Waterville, Lucas County, or a wider Ohio service area. Do not use the city’s population as a forecast.
