1. Define the geography before you read the numbers
A dashboard can become misleading when “Struthers” is used interchangeably with Mahoning County, a broader service area or Ohio as a whole. The Census record identifies Struthers city as a municipality in Mahoning County. Your firm should therefore decide which geography each view represents: the city itself, the county, another explicitly selected service area or a statewide footprint. Keep households, individuals and geographic areas distinct when interpreting any local context. A population estimate is eligibility evidence for reviewing a place, not evidence that people in that place are searching for legal services or that your firm will receive matters there.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how location labels, service-and-city targets and case-type views would be defined for your firm. Before approving a metric, record its geography, date range and inclusion rule. If a chart combines Struthers with Mahoning County or another area, require that boundary to be visible rather than inferred.
