1. Define what “Streetsboro” means in the dashboard
A city target and a service area are not automatically the same thing. The Census record identifies Streetsboro city as a municipality in Portage County. Your firm may serve people inside the city, elsewhere in Portage County, or in additional Ohio locations, but those relationships should be stated rather than inferred from the population estimate. A dashboard becomes harder to use when “Streetsboro,” “Portage County,” and “Ohio” are treated as interchangeable labels. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page describes city data, keyword rankings and source attribution as part of the reporting picture. It does not establish what geographic configuration a particular firm will receive.
Recommended approach
At consultation, ask Bosseo to show how geographic labels would be defined for your account. Separate city-level targets from county-level and statewide reporting, and decide whether a lead’s location, the searched location, the page location or the office location controls the geographic field. Treat the Streetsboro population estimate as context only, not as a forecast.
