Can Bosseo host a website it did not build?+
Bosseo’s public Dedicated Hosting page says it can migrate and run existing websites, including WordPress sites and sites built by other providers. Ask for a site-specific review of your platform, database, forms and third-party services before approving the move.
Will changing hosting improve our Google rankings?+
Hosting can affect technical conditions such as speed and availability, and Bosseo identifies page speed as a ranking factor. A hosting change does not guarantee crawling, indexing, rankings or visibility. Measure your own site and separate infrastructure changes from SEO and content work.
What happens to our domain during migration?+
Bosseo states that the domain remains owned by the client while DNS is managed to point the site to its infrastructure. Confirm registrar access, DNS authority, nameserver changes and the process for restoring control if the relationship ends.
What should we ask about backups?+
Ask what the daily backups include, how long they are retained, how restoration is requested, what restoration covers and how forms, databases, uploads and configuration are handled. Do not treat the existence of a backup as proof that every external system can be restored.
Could our email stop working when the website moves?+
A website migration can involve email-related DNS records. Bosseo’s public page says email records are handled as part of migration, but your firm should still identify the email administrator, document the records and include email continuity in the acceptance review.
Is Dedicated Hosting the same as a full marketing engagement?+
No assumption should be made. Bosseo offers hosting alongside marketing, intake, automation, measurement and custom software services, but you should ask which services are included in the proposal, which are separate decisions and which integrations require additional scope.
