1. Define the geography before reading the dashboard
Pleasant Run is a CDP, not a synonym for Hamilton County, the Cincinnati metropolitan area or all of Ohio. The Census record identifies Pleasant Run CDP and its relationship to Hamilton County; it does not establish where a firm’s clients live, where searches originate or which locations should receive credit for a matter. The population estimate is also subject to a stated margin of error. A dashboard review should keep Pleasant Run households, individuals, neighboring communities and the firm’s broader service territory distinct. Otherwise, a “local” total can combine unlike areas and make a geographic comparison difficult to interpret.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how location is represented in the dashboard and decide which geographic labels matter to the firm. Separate Pleasant Run from Hamilton County and any wider Ohio coverage. Document whether a location field describes a caller, a landing page, a campaign target or a matter venue. Treat those as different measurements rather than interchangeable proof of return.
