1. Define the geography before you judge the numbers
A North Canton firm may discuss its city, Stark County, Ohio or a broader service area, but those labels do not describe the same measurement question. The Census identifies North Canton city as a municipality in Stark County and records a 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate of 17,727. That fact can help you specify the place attached to a report; it cannot establish how many people search for a lawyer, how many cases exist or how much revenue a market can produce. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page says the system can show city data, tracked service-and-city targets and leads by case type. Before evaluating a dashboard, decide whether “North Canton” means a city target, a Stark County service area or another defined geography.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how geographic labels are defined in the dashboard and whether a report can distinguish North Canton from Stark County. Do not approve a measurement plan that treats the city’s population as a forecast. Set a written rule for which place names, pages, calls and matters belong in each geographic view.
