1. Define the geography before you define ROI
Mayfield Heights is a city in Cuyahoga County. The 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate for the city is 20,022, with a margin of error of 30. That is an official population estimate, not evidence of legal demand, search volume, competition, leads or revenue. It does establish why geographic definitions matter: a Mayfield Heights city target is not automatically the same thing as a Cuyahoga County target, an Ohio target or a metropolitan-area target. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page says its tracking can include service-and-city targets, city data and source attribution. Before purchase, ask which geographic labels would appear in your dashboard and whether a call or form can be evaluated against the intended service area rather than a broad location category.
Recommended approach
Bring a written geographic map to the consultation: Mayfield Heights city, Cuyahoga County, any other communities you intentionally serve, and Ohio-wide work if relevant. Agree which labels are reporting dimensions and which are merely page or campaign descriptions.
