Use Jackson geography to define the review—not to guess demand
Jackson city and Jackson County are different geographic references. The Census record identifies Jackson as a municipality in Jackson County, Ohio; it does not show how many calls your firm receives or where callers are located. That distinction matters when you decide which conversations belong in an intake review. A firm serving Jackson city may also receive inquiries from elsewhere in Jackson County or from outside the county. The right question is not whether the population number predicts leads. It is whether your intake process can consistently identify a caller’s location, legal issue, urgency and appropriate next step.
Recommended approach
During a Bosseo consultation, describe the geographic area your firm actually serves and decide how location should be captured during intake. Review whether a caller from Jackson city, another part of Jackson County or another Ohio location follows the same response path. Do not use the population estimate as a forecast; use your real conversations and service boundaries to set the review scope.
