1. Define the geographic brief before reviewing stories
Your first decision is not how many pages to publish. It is where the firm intends to serve and which places may legitimately appear in a legal-news page. Grafton is a municipality in Lorain County, so a Grafton-focused brief should not silently expand into every Ohio city or treat the county as identical to the village. The firm may also serve a wider Ohio area, but that should be an explicit business decision rather than an assumption drawn from the village population. Bosseo’s public Legal News page describes matching stories to a firm’s practice areas and state. That makes geographic scope a review question: which stories are relevant to Grafton, which belong to Lorain County, and which are statewide?
Recommended approach
Set separate labels for Grafton, Lorain County and Ohio. Review whether each proposed page names a place only when the source supports that connection. Do not use the ACS population estimate as a proxy for demand or expected results.
