1. Set the geography before reading the numbers
East Cleveland city is recorded as a municipality in Cuyahoga County. That distinction matters when a firm reviews local performance. A city target, a county target, an Ohio target and a metropolitan-area target are not interchangeable. Population figures describe residents, not households, searches, legal need or prospective clients. If a dashboard combines several geographic scopes, a total can look precise while answering the wrong question. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page says it tracks service-and-city keyword targets and can show which cities produce calls. That makes geographic definitions a central acceptance question for your firm: can you tell whether a result belongs to East Cleveland, Cuyahoga County or a broader area?
Recommended approach
Ask for every location label and filter to be stated in plain language. Decide which areas belong in the core view, which belong in a broader service-area view, and whether the same geography is used for rankings, calls, forms and matters. Treat the Census figure as context for the city—not as a forecast of demand.
