1. Set the geographic scope before reading the numbers
A Delaware law firm can use “Delaware” to mean the city, Delaware County or a broader Ohio service area. Those are not interchangeable. The Census record identifies Delaware as a municipality in Delaware County and reports its population estimate for the city, not for every household, individual or legal market connected to it. A useful ROI view therefore needs an explicit geographic definition for each tracked target. A city keyword, a county keyword and an Ohio-wide term should not be treated as the same measurement. The dashboard page describes tracking for service-and-city targets and says keyword coverage can be viewed across a state. That makes scope a decision to document rather than a fact to assume.
Recommended approach
During a Bosseo review, ask which location labels, practice areas and target terms belong in the firm’s measurement plan. Separate Delaware city from Delaware County and from any wider Ohio coverage. Keep the geographic label beside each metric so a partner can tell what the number actually represents.
