Start with the geography your firm actually serves
The U.S. Census Bureau records Cheviot as a city in Hamilton County, Ohio, with a 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate of 8,660 and a margin of error of 23. That is geographic and eligibility context, not evidence of legal demand, search activity, competition or future case volume. Your attribution review should therefore distinguish Cheviot from Hamilton County and from any wider service area your firm chooses to accept. A lead connected to a Cheviot landing page is not automatically a Cheviot resident, and a Hamilton County inquiry is not automatically a qualified matter.
Recommended approach
Define the geographic fields you want to review before judging channel performance. Ask whether the record captures the prospective client’s stated location, the page visited, the service sought and the firm’s actual service decision. Keep population context separate from marketing and intake conclusions.
