Set a service area that matches the firm’s actual reach
Wake Forest is a municipality in North Carolina associated with both Wake County and Franklin County. The 2020–2024 ACS five-year estimate records 52,844 residents, with a margin of error of 42. That is geographic context, not proof of search demand, competition or likely lead volume. A law firm should therefore decide its LSA geography from its real service capacity: where it accepts matters, where attorneys can consult clients and which locations are outside its preferred scope. A town name alone is not a sufficient targeting plan.
Recommended approach
Review Wake Forest, Wake County and Franklin County as distinct geographic relationships rather than treating them as interchangeable. Confirm which areas the firm wants to serve, which case types it accepts from those areas and whether its profile language accurately describes that reach. Bosseo’s public LSA description identifies category and geography targeting as part of its program.
