Start with the process, not a feature list
Bosseo describes Custom Software as a way to turn a firm’s bottleneck into a working tool. Examples on the public product page include client portals, intake tools, internal dashboards, referral trackers, document-intake flows, calculators and integrations between systems. That does not mean every firm needs one of those products. It means your first question should be what staff repeatedly do by hand. A Long View firm may serve clients across Burke County, Catawba County or elsewhere in North Carolina; the municipality’s county relationships should be treated as geographic context, not as proof that a particular workflow or software feature is required.
Recommended approach
Write down one process in operational terms: who starts it, what information enters, where it is copied, who approves the next step and what happens when the process stalls. Ask Bosseo to assess that process before discussing a larger platform.
