1. Define the geographic record before judging performance
Your firm may describe its service area as Burlington, Alamance County, Guilford County, North Carolina or some combination of those places. Those labels are not interchangeable. The Census record identifies Burlington as a municipality and records relationships with Alamance County and Guilford County. It does not show where inquiries originate, which geography produces signed matters or whether one location outperforms another. Lead Attribution can be evaluated against that distinction because Bosseo describes journey records that include the landing page, channel, referrer, device, sessions and outcome. Ask whether your reporting can preserve the geography your firm actually serves instead of collapsing every inquiry into a single “local” category.
Recommended approach
Bring a written geographic definition to the consultation. Decide whether Burlington, the named counties and broader North Carolina service areas need separate review paths, and confirm which geographic fields are available in your intake records. Treat population as context, not as a forecast.
