1. Separate Apex geography from attribution evidence
Apex is recorded as a municipality, and its county relationships are Chatham County and Wake County. Those boundaries matter when you review landing pages, service-area coverage and reporting categories. They do not prove that a visitor lives in Apex, that a matter arose in either county, or that a particular page generated a qualified inquiry. Attribution should preserve the distinction between a visitor’s stated location, the page they visited and the geographic category your firm uses for intake. A report that simply labels every inquiry “Apex” can obscure whether the person sought service in Apex, elsewhere in Wake County, in Chatham County or outside the firm’s intended area.
Recommended approach
Decide which geographic fields your team needs to review: municipality, county relationship, service area and matter location. Ask to see how those fields would appear alongside the lead journey before relying on geographic roll-ups.
