1. Define the geography before you judge performance
A local ROI view can become misleading when a firm treats Wilson, Niagara County and New York as interchangeable. The Census record identifies Wilson as a municipal town in Niagara County. That is useful context for naming a location in a measurement plan, but it cannot tell you how many people search for a practice area, where callers live, or whether a matter is viable. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard text describes tracking for service-and-city targets, city data and source attribution. The decision is therefore definitional: which geographic labels should appear in your reporting, and which locations should be treated as separate targets?
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how Wilson is represented separately from Niagara County and broader New York coverage. Confirm whether your firm’s own intake records can capture location consistently, and agree on how a caller who mentions more than one place should be categorized.
