1. Start with the geography your firm actually serves
A local report can become misleading when “Williston Park,” Nassau County, New York and a wider metropolitan area are treated as interchangeable. The Census record identifies Williston Park village and its relationship to Nassau County; it does not establish where prospective clients search, call or retain counsel. A dashboard therefore needs a clear geographic definition for every question. Are you reviewing activity from the village, the county, New York generally, or several service areas? Bosseo’s public description says the dashboard can show city data, keyword rankings and leads by case type. That makes geographic naming an important acceptance question rather than a conclusion about demand.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to demonstrate how a firm would distinguish Williston Park from Nassau County and any broader New York targets. Decide which location labels belong in reports, which should remain separate, and how a lead’s location would be recorded without treating residence as proof of eligibility or case value.
