1. Start with the calls your firm actually handles
The U.S. Census Bureau records Waterford town in Saratoga County and estimates its 2020–2024 ACS population at 8,163, with a margin of error of 21. That is geographic context, not evidence of demand, competition, call volume, staffing needs, or language preferences. Intake Coach should therefore be evaluated against your firm’s real intake environment: the calls your team answers, the calls handled by an after-hours or overflow path, and the matters your attorneys want screened or escalated. The relevant question is not how many people live in Waterford. It is whether your firm can consistently understand and act on the conversations that reach it.
Recommended approach
Bring a defined set of intake situations to the consultation, such as new inquiries, existing-client calls, urgent deadlines, matters outside scope, and calls requiring attorney review. Confirm which conversations belong in the coaching review and which should be excluded.
