1. Set the footprint around actual service decisions
Bosseo says its programmatic SEO service can cover a whole state or only the counties a firm chooses. Springs is a CDP in Suffolk County, New York, so a firm considering Springs should first decide whether Suffolk County is the relevant operating boundary or whether its service area extends beyond it. The Census relationship identifies the county; it does not establish that the firm serves every community in the county. A broad footprint may create more coverage, but geographic breadth should follow the firm’s intake capacity, practice areas and service commitments.
Recommended approach
Bring a current list of communities and counties the firm is prepared to serve. Ask Bosseo to map that list against the proposed footprint before approving coverage. Keep Springs and Suffolk County distinct in the plan, and do not expand from one geographic fact into a statewide demand claim.
