1. Start with the Southampton service area, not a generic hosting package
A location statement needs to be precise. Southampton is a town in Suffolk County, New York; it is not interchangeable with Suffolk County, the New York metropolitan area, New York State or a broader regional audience. The Census population estimate describes the town’s residents, not the number of people who search for a lawyer, contact a firm or become clients. That distinction matters when you assess hosting. A site serving Southampton may have pages for the town, the county and other locations, but each page still needs an operational reason to exist and accurate information. Bosseo’s public hosting page says its infrastructure is built to support law-firm websites, including sites with thousands of pages. It does not establish how many pages your firm needs or what traffic your site receives.
Recommended approach
Bring your current domain list, site map, traffic records and service-area plan to the review. Ask which pages need to be hosted, which geographic relationships are accurate, and what evidence would justify expanding the site. Do not use the Southampton population estimate as a forecast of demand.
