1. Define the geography before you interpret the dashboard
A location filter can change the meaning of every chart. Schodack is a municipal town in Rensselaer County, New York; the town, the county and any broader metropolitan area are not interchangeable. A firm may serve people in Schodack while receiving calls from elsewhere, and a page aimed at Schodack is not automatically evidence that a caller came from Schodack. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard text says it can show city data, tracked service-and-city targets and leads by case type. The practical question is how those categories will be defined for your account.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how Schodack, Rensselaer County and any wider service area would appear as separate reporting dimensions. Decide whether geography will be based on the search target, landing page, caller information, intake information or another documented field. Do not combine town and county figures in one total unless your firm has deliberately chosen that scope.
