1. Define what “Rye” means in your measurement plan
The U.S. Census Bureau records Rye city as a municipality in Westchester County. Its 2020–2024 ACS 5-year population estimate is 16,428, with a margin of error of 47. That is population context, not proof of legal demand or marketing performance. Your dashboard should therefore distinguish a Rye city target from a Westchester County target, New York-wide coverage and any other geography your firm elects to monitor. It should also distinguish households, individuals and geographic areas rather than treating them as interchangeable. Before reviewing results, decide whether a location label describes a search target, a caller’s stated location, a page’s intended audience or the matter’s venue. Those are different measurement questions.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to walk through the geographic definitions used for rankings, calls, leads and matters. Record which fields are observed, which are classified and which require your staff’s judgment. Do not treat the Rye population estimate as a forecast of calls, cases or revenue.
