1. Start with the firm’s actual service footprint
The Census identifies Rocky Point as a CDP in Suffolk County. That geographic relationship matters because a Rocky Point page should not imply that the firm serves every community in New York, or even every community in Suffolk County, unless the firm has decided that those areas belong in its service footprint. Bosseo’s public product description says the system can be scoped to a whole state or to selected counties. That gives you a meaningful first decision: define where the firm is prepared to accept and serve matters before multiplying services by places. The Rocky Point population estimate is a location reference, not a reason to expand coverage. A smaller or larger population does not prove that a page will attract a qualified inquiry.
Recommended approach
List the counties and communities the firm genuinely serves, identify any geographic limits created by court practice or licensing, and decide whether Rocky Point belongs in a Suffolk County footprint, a broader New York footprint, or a narrower set of communities. Ask Bosseo to show how that decision changes the proposed page set. Do not use population as a proxy for demand.
