1. Replace “How did you hear about us?” with a recorded journey
A prospective client may visit more than once or use more than one path before contacting your firm. Bosseo’s public Lead Attribution page describes records that include channel, referrer, landing page, device, session detail and attached intake answers. It also describes calls joining the same journey. That gives a Rochester firm a more precise question than whether someone remembers seeing the firm on Google: which path brought the inquiry to the firm, and what did the person say about the matter? Rochester is a municipality in Monroe County, but that geographic fact does not establish which channels, services or pages will produce inquiries. The firm still needs its own records to answer those questions.
Recommended approach
Review whether your current intake record preserves source and qualification information together. If it does not, make the connection between the web journey, phone contact and intake answers a central requirement for evaluation.
