1. Start with the bottleneck, not a feature list
Ridgeway is a municipal town in Orleans County with a 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate of 6,514 and a margin of error of 20. That figure describes the town’s population; it does not establish legal demand, lead volume or the business case for software. For your firm, the useful local question is narrower: which activity repeatedly consumes staff attention in your Ridgeway practice? Examples might include transferring information between systems, answering routine status questions or routing new inquiries. Those are illustrations, not claims about your firm.
Recommended approach
Bring one real workflow to the consultation. Describe who performs it, what starts it, what information is entered, where the process pauses and what the next person needs. Bosseo’s public Custom Software page says the engagement begins with the firm describing its bottleneck in plain English, followed by design and build around that workflow. Ask whether the problem is specific enough for custom software or better handled by an existing product.
