Start with the geographic definition
The U.S. Census Bureau records Plattsburgh town as a municipal town in Clinton County, New York, with a 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate of 11,830 and a margin of error of 24. That is geographic and population context only. It does not establish legal demand, search volume, competition, calls, matters or revenue. For an ROI review, the important decision is therefore how your firm names and separates its service area. A Plattsburgh target should not silently become a countywide or statewide result. Ask whether city, county, state and service-area reporting will be distinguishable in the views you use.
Recommended approach
Before accepting any dashboard definition, write down the geographic scope for each question: where a ranking is tracked, where a lead says it is located, and which area a matter serves. Ask Bosseo to show how those definitions would appear in the proposed review rather than treating the population figure as a forecast.
