Start with the calls your Plattsburgh firm actually receives
The Census record identifies Plattsburgh as a municipal town in Clinton County, New York, but it does not establish how many prospective clients contact a law firm, which practice areas they ask about, or whether calls come from inside the town, elsewhere in Clinton County, or another service area. Those distinctions matter when you decide which calls should be reviewed and who owns follow-up. Intake Coach’s public description says every intake call is captured, recorded, transcribed and tagged by case type automatically, including calls handled by the firm’s team or the AI answering backstop. That creates a possible basis for reviewing the conversations your firm is already handling rather than treating population as a proxy for intake demand.
Recommended approach
Before booking, list the geographic areas your firm intentionally serves and the case types you want to evaluate. Ask how those boundaries would appear in call review, and do not use the Plattsburgh population estimate to set a call target or staffing assumption.
