1. Define the Oyster Bay geography before reviewing ROI
The Census record identifies Oyster Bay CDP and its relationship to Nassau County. It does not establish the boundaries of your service area, the places your firm wants to target, or the location of a future client. That distinction matters when a dashboard reports city, county, keyword or lead information. A result associated with Oyster Bay may not answer the same question as a result associated with Nassau County or another New York location. The dashboard page says Bosseo can show rankings by service-and-city target and asks which cities produce calls. Those labels should be agreed with your firm rather than treated as self-explanatory.
Recommended approach
Bring a written service-area definition to the review. Ask Bosseo to show how Oyster Bay, Nassau County and any other approved locations would be represented, how location is assigned to a call or lead, and how the firm would distinguish a tracked search target from a person’s actual location. Do not use the Census population estimate to forecast calls, matters or revenue.
