1. Start with the North Merrick boundary
North Merrick’s official geographic relationship matters when you review location reporting. The Census identifies North Merrick as a CDP in Nassau County, New York. That does not establish that every inquiry associated with North Merrick originated there, that a person is a resident, or that a matter should be credited to that place. If your firm serves a wider area, a report that merges North Merrick, Nassau County and other locations can make attribution harder to interpret.
Recommended approach
Agree on the geographic labels you want to review before judging performance. Ask which page, campaign or keyword is being associated with North Merrick; whether location means searcher location, caller statement, intake address or matter location; and how nearby areas will be separated. Keep the CDP, county and broader service area distinct in your internal decisions.
