1. Start with the geography your firm actually serves
A location filter is useful only when its meaning is explicit. Niskayaga is a municipal town in Schenectady County, New York. A firm may serve people in the town, elsewhere in Schenectady County, or across a wider New York service area. Those are different reporting scopes and should not be blended into one local conclusion. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page says its reporting can show rankings, leads and case-type information, including city data. That makes geographic definitions an important subject for your review. Ask which location labels appear in the reporting, how service-area targets are named, and how you would separate Niskayaga activity from countywide or statewide activity. The Census population estimate is a planning reference only; it cannot tell you how many people searched for a lawyer or contacted a firm.
Recommended approach
Bring your preferred geographic definitions to the consultation. Decide whether “Niskayaga” means the town alone, a broader Schenectady County market, or one part of a larger New York coverage plan. Do not approve a report until the location field answers that question consistently.
