1. Start with the calls your firm actually handles
New Square’s recorded population is useful geographic context, but it cannot tell you how many prospective clients contact your office or which matters they raise. Intake planning should therefore begin with your own conversations and service area rather than with a population-based assumption. Bosseo describes Intake Coach as reviewing every intake call, including calls handled by a firm’s team and calls handled by its AI answering system. The public product description says each call can receive an AI score, a winability estimate, the quoted retainer, a call-quality review, a summary, extracted key facts and specific coaching suggestions.
Recommended approach
Bring a defined set of real intake questions to a consultation: which calls count as intake, who owns the next action, what makes a matter eligible for attorney review and which facts must be captured before follow-up. Ask Bosseo to explain how those decisions would map to the firm’s actual call flow. Do not use New Square’s population as a substitute for call records.
