1. Start with the New City service area you actually accept
Your firm may serve New City, other parts of Rockland County, or a broader New York market. Those are different geographic decisions. The Census record identifies New City CDP and its Rockland County relationship; it does not establish that every resident is a prospective client or that a particular matter type is common. Video Intake should therefore begin with the locations and matter types your firm is willing to evaluate, rather than with a population-based assumption.
Recommended approach
Bring a clear service-area rule to the review. Decide whether the intake should ask about location, route inquiries by geography, or simply collect location for staff review. Confirm which New York matters your firm accepts and which inquiries should be escalated or declined. If the firm serves beyond Rockland County, avoid presenting New City as a proxy for the whole market.
