1. Set the footprint around New City and Rockland County
Bosseo’s public product description allows a firm to choose statewide coverage or limit the footprint to selected counties. For a firm evaluating New City, the first geographic decision is whether New City belongs inside a Rockland County plan, a broader New York plan or a narrower service area. The Census record identifies New City CDP and its relationship to Rockland County; it does not say that every resident is a prospective client or that countywide coverage will produce inquiries. A useful review should therefore map the places the firm actually serves against its intake capacity and practice areas.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to review a New City-and-Rockland County footprint separately from any broader New York expansion. Decide which cities and legal services are legitimate coverage choices, rather than using the population estimate as a proxy for demand.
