1. Set the geographic boundary before you write the questions
Your service area needs to be explicit. The available Census record identifies a municipal-town in New York, with a 2020–2024 ACS 5-year population estimate of 5,089 and a margin of error of 19; its recorded county relationship is Broome County. That fact describes the geography and population estimate only. It does not establish legal demand, search activity, competition, staffing needs or likely intake volume. A Video Intake path should therefore ask for the information your firm actually uses to determine service territory, rather than treating population as a proxy for need.
Recommended approach
Decide whether the flow should distinguish Maine matters from New York matters, and whether New York inquiries in Broome County require a different ownership or escalation decision. State the service boundary in plain language and review it with counsel before publishing.
