1. Start with Liberty and the actual service area
Your firm may serve Liberty itself, other communities in Sullivan County, or a wider New York service area. Those are different geographic decisions. Liberty’s Census record identifies it as a municipal town in Sullivan County; it does not establish how far prospective clients will travel, where your existing matters originate, or which areas Google may make available for your profile. A campaign should not treat the town’s population as a forecast. Instead, compare the places your firm is legally able and operationally willing to serve with the places represented in your past inquiries and matters.
Recommended approach
Bring a written service-area policy to the consultation. Identify locations you accept, locations you do not accept, courthouse or travel limitations, and any practice-specific boundaries. Bosseo can review how geographic targeting should align with those decisions rather than using Liberty as a substitute for market evidence.
