1. Start with the inquiry path, not the software list
A useful automation review follows an inquiry from its first point of contact to the next action. Bosseo describes a path that can capture a form, call, chat or video intake; log contact details, case type, source and intake answers; route the record; and trigger follow-up. Your firm should compare that model with its actual path in LaGrange and Dutchess County. Do inquiries arrive in one place or several? Does someone have to copy information into a CRM or case-management system? Is ownership clear when the inquiry arrives outside office hours? The ACS population estimate for the town does not answer those questions, so use your own records and observations instead.
Recommended approach
Document each entry point, current destination, responsible person, next action and exception. Treat any missing answer as a review item rather than assuming automation will solve it.
