1. Define the geography before judging performance
A location label can conceal an important measurement choice. Kings Point is a village in Nassau County, New York; the Census estimate describes the municipality and its population, not the number of prospective clients searching for counsel. A dashboard review should therefore distinguish Kings Point from broader Nassau County coverage and from any other service area your firm elects to track. If a report combines those geographies, a partner may mistake county activity for Kings Point activity. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page describes tracking for service-and-city targets, city data and source attribution. Before relying on those views, ask how the firm’s chosen geographic targets will be named, separated and interpreted.
Recommended approach
Create a written geography definition for each tracked service: Kings Point village, Nassau County, or another area your firm intentionally serves. Ask to see how those labels appear in rankings, leads and source attribution, and do not treat the Census population as a demand forecast.
