1. Define the footprint before you define the page count
Bosseo describes two geographic approaches: statewide coverage or a tighter footprint limited to selected counties. For a firm evaluating Geneseo, the first distinction is between Geneseo town and Livingston County. A page for Geneseo is not the same geographic proposition as coverage across every city in Livingston County, and neither automatically represents all of New York. The Census record identifies Geneseo as a municipal town and places it in Livingston County; it does not identify which locations your firm serves.
Recommended approach
List the places where your firm is prepared to advise and represent clients. Then decide whether Livingston County is an appropriate initial boundary or whether your actual service area supports a wider New York footprint. Treat the 10,338-person estimate as context for the town’s size, not as a forecast. Ask Bosseo to show how a county-only scope would differ from a statewide scope before approving coverage.
