1. Start with the firm’s actual workflow
The 2020–2024 ACS 5-year estimate records 22,924 people for the municipal-town geography of Fishkill in Dutchess County. That fact describes the town and its county relationship; it does not establish legal demand, case volume, search behavior or software requirements. It does, however, make geographic precision important when you describe the firm’s service area. A custom build should be scoped around the firm’s real work for clients and staff, not around a population number or a generic local assumption. Bosseo’s public Custom Software page gives examples such as client status portals, intake tools and internal dashboards. Those examples are starting points, not a reason to purchase.
Recommended approach
Bring one recurring bottleneck to the consultation. Describe who performs the work, what information they use, which step causes delay or duplication, and what a successful completed task looks like. If the problem cannot be explained in operational terms, it is not ready for a build decision.
