1. Start with the Eastchester geography your reports will actually use
Eastchester CDP is a census-designated place in Westchester County, New York. A location report should not quietly combine Eastchester with the county, a wider metropolitan area or all of New York. Those are different geographic scopes and can describe different inquiries. The local fact changes the attribution decision: decide whether “Eastchester” means the CDP, a service area that includes nearby communities, or an address available by an individual. Then preserve that distinction in intake and reporting. Population can establish that a place is a defined market area for review, but it cannot establish that people are searching for a particular practice, that competitors are winning those searches or that a particular channel will produce matters.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo how geographic labels would be represented in the records you review. Keep the client’s location, the landing-page location and the firm’s service area as separate fields or concepts unless the consultation establishes a different structure. Do not treat a page visit associated with Eastchester as proof that the visitor lives there or that the matter belongs to an Eastchester market.
