1. Define what counts as a result before reviewing the numbers
The dashboard’s public description includes keyword rankings, Top 3 and Top 10 counts, SERP features, AI citations, calls, leads, case types, forms, intakes, source attribution, reviews and trends over time. That range is useful only when your firm agrees on the meaning of each measure. A call is not automatically a potential new client. A lead is not automatically a retained matter. A ranking is not evidence of revenue. For an East Quogue practice, begin by separating the place name from the wider geographic areas your firm actually serves in Suffolk County and elsewhere in New York. Do not let a single East Quogue label obscure whether an inquiry came from a different service area or involved a practice your firm does not handle.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to walk through the proposed definitions for inquiry, potential new client, current client, spam, matter, case type and revenue. Decide which geographic labels belong in reporting, then record acceptance criteria for each metric before using the dashboard in partner or budget meetings.
