Start with the bottleneck, not a feature list
Custom software is most defensible when your firm can describe a recurring operational problem in plain language. Bosseo’s public Custom Software page gives examples such as a speed-to-lead tool, a client status portal and a referral fee tracker. It also describes builds for document intake flows, internal dashboards, calculators and connections between systems already in use. These are examples of possible scopes, not a promise that every requested tool is suitable or available without review.
Recommended approach
Write down one process that causes avoidable manual work. Note who performs it, what information enters the process, where it is re-entered, which decision follows and what must happen when someone does not act. A Clifton Park firm should distinguish work performed for clients in the town from work performed for clients elsewhere in Saratoga County or beyond. That geographic distinction may affect the fields, routing rules and access controls you review, but it does not prove that a software build will create more cases.
