1. Start with the geography your firm actually serves
The Census identifies Cicero as a municipal town in Onondaga County, New York. A dashboard review should preserve that relationship rather than treating “Cicero” as a proxy for an entire market. Ask which location labels appear in ranking views, lead records, attribution fields and reports. If your practice serves additional places, decide whether those places belong in the same view or should be separated for clearer interpretation. The Cicero population estimate is useful for confirming that the town is within the intended service geography; it does not establish that residents are searching for a particular practice area or contacting a law firm.
Recommended approach
Before evaluating the product, write down the geographic scope you want to measure: Cicero, Onondaga County, New York, or another defined service area. Then ask Bosseo to show how geography is represented in the dashboard and how you would distinguish a location target from a client’s actual residence or matter location.
