1. Start with the firm’s actual bottleneck
Custom software is most useful when a repeated task is specific enough to describe and important enough to improve. Bosseo’s public Custom Software page gives examples including a speed-to-lead app, a client status portal and a referral fee tracker. It also describes tools for intake, internal dashboards, document collection and connections between systems a firm already uses. For a firm serving Centereach and elsewhere in Suffolk County, the first decision is therefore operational: which process should the tool support, and where does that process begin and end? A location does not answer that question. Your staff’s current workflow does.
Recommended approach
Bring one sentence that describes the friction, such as “a staff member re-enters consultation details” or “clients contact us for routine status updates.” Treat that sentence as an issue to investigate, not as proof that a custom build is appropriate. Bosseo can review the current steps and determine whether a focused tool, an existing product or no new software is the better answer.
