1. Define the geography before asking for reviews
Canton and St. Lawrence County are not interchangeable labels. Canton is a municipal town; the county is the recorded county relationship. Your firm may serve Canton, other communities in St. Lawrence County, or a wider New York territory. Those distinctions matter when reviewing the name, address, service-area language and practice-specific context attached to public profiles. A review program should not imply that every reviewer, case or inquiry came from Canton simply because the firm serves Canton. Population can provide basic geographic context, but it cannot tell you how many people need counsel, how many firms compete for a query, or how many reviews a firm may earn.
Recommended approach
Begin with a geographic inventory: the firm’s physical location, the areas it serves, the locations represented on its profiles and the places relevant to each practice area. Ask Bosseo how the review plan would preserve those distinctions and how inquiries would be classified by location without treating the Canton population estimate as a demand forecast.
