1. Set the Boston service boundary before writing questions
Your public geography should be deliberate. Boston is recorded as a municipal town in Erie County, New York. New York is a state, while Boston is a town and Erie County is a county relationship; those terms should not be used interchangeably on an intake path. A firm may serve Boston, other parts of Erie County, a metropolitan area, New York generally, or a different combination. The Video Intake flow should reflect the locations the firm actually reviews rather than treating a place name as proof that a matter is eligible.
Recommended approach
Write an opening location question that distinguishes where the person is located, where the incident occurred, and whether the firm accepts matters from that area. Review the wording for Boston town, Erie County and any broader New York coverage separately. If the firm also serves a metropolitan area, define that area in the intake and in the routing rules instead of implying that every New York visitor qualifies.
